I definitely will never be a vegetarian.
If I can
meet my own Thanksgiving TURKEY and still enjoy the Thanksgiving MEAL, then there is no hope for me.
Here is, Herbert the
Turkey, (or Herb, may he rest in peace) on Thanksgiving morning. While so many American’s enjoyed an “Organic Turkey” for their Thanksgiving holiday, I think the terms “fresh” and “organic” take on a whole new meaning here in
Uganda.
And,
I believe an African would be shocked at how much we American’s pay for an Organic Turkey! But, it was really nice to find Thanksgiving so familiar this far away from home, thanks to Herb, may he rest in peace.
